Rats don't like quinoa as much as you'd think they would.

Oh well, next time, it's more apple sauce, I suppose.

Also, Kaedyn has a vet appt on Wednesday. I'm not sure what I mean when I say I hope it 'goes well.'

maybe it's too bitter? I have trouble making quinoa without it tasting a little bitter. I think my boys would eat anything I put in front of them, though, and just look at me sadly if it wasn't something they liked.

Hope Wednesday goes ok, whatever that may mean.

The stuff I get isn't really bitter at all. I think this mix isn't as sweet (I cut out the sweet potato cuz I was out), so even though they ate it, they weren't diving in and making a mess over it like they were before.

(If this doesn't make sense: background info: I've been making rat "babyfood" with high carb/cal foods to try to fatten my little Kae up. It's... sort of working, maybe? Barely, but he likes the treats, so why not.

ahhh. Yeah, we gave our underweight rittens lots of avocado and other tasty things. It seemed to help with Rudy.

At this point, I don't think there's much that could help. Maybe the vet will have a better idea, or maybe I will have to put him to sleep. Either way, I just want to make him not suffer anymore. It breaks my heart.

He sat in my lap, with his head rested on the palm of my hand for an hour today. Just layin' there, one paw on my thumb, and let me pet him and scritch him. He didn't boggle or brux, just laid there. He doesn't do that. He's never done that. He's so weak.
