Shay is less concerned about the zombie part and more about the guitar playing.

He has his own guitar. He's teleporting across the city, close to the herds, playing it and singing (he's quite good.)

He hasn't noticed the TARDIS yet, but surely he will, soon.

It also attracts the attention of a Shay, who deems it a better idea to prod the Doctor with his guitar than to actually help her.

She has not noticed the advancing zombies yet. Woe.

"And lo, there shall come a bright light from the sky, bearing an engima wrapped in a phonebox." Mort nods to himself from the window, ticking off an entry in a small spiral notebook. "Yes, I do believe that fits the bills."

The enigma falls out of the phonebox (thank you, change of gravity centre) and just stares up at the sky for a minute, mildly stunned.

But not too stunned to notice the man and his notebook.

"What?"

He smiles, barely, out of his reflection at the woman. "Good day to you as well. Enjoy your trip?
