Tom blinks, annoyed at the interruption, then sits up, then realizes he recognizes that accent. Much like Jack's clothes, it doesn't quite fit with what Tom's used to, but it's closer than anything else in this land.
So instead of telling Will to bugger off, Tom manages a friendly smile and a "Fair day yourself, good-sir."
