"Nana," Dean agrees, stepping carefully over the mush and reaching for the unsmushed nanas on the top of the fridge. "I'm definitely taking some'a those."
Loo really is a speed bather, but she's also very dirty and Mel takes the time to clean up the mess she made in the kitchen, letting Hana have time with Dean, because Mel happens to think it's good for the girls to spend time with other people, and Hana's much less clingy than Loo.
Then the two of them stop outside the twins' room to listen to the story, and Mel waits until it's well and truly done before sneaking in with a sleeping little girl in her arms.
"All my tales are good," Dean says, somehow managing to make it sound innuendo-laden without too much stretching of the imagination. He rolls off Loo's spot and stands up gently, careful not to wake Hana after he just put that much effort into carefully tailing the story off to let her sleep.

... it looks gross, and there's no mother here to impress by eating her daughter's mush this time, so he shakes his head politely.

She says, while eating something that's mostly pineapple. Loo then proceeds to tell him in detail about the Nana, but it's not all that sense making.
The gist of it, is that he should try it.

Well, except for the mush still in Mel's hair, and that she picks out of Dean.
"They're clean, anyway. You need a shower."

Dean is intrigued by this, and standing far closer than is entirely necessary.
"I'm not the only one." He points out a small banana handprint on her collarbone, by means of tracing it lightly.
Mm. Bananas.
