Claire has been in the hospital, and in the bunker, and around the farm more than she's usually around the farm. Because there's a BABY and she's muscled her way in as a nurse, and she wants to keep an eye on both Sonia and Ralph

And now she's heading towards the kitchen with dirty diapers, bottles that need washing, and all sorts of things to do that make her feel more useful than she's felt in a long time.

She steps over her boyfriend on the way to the laundry hamper, steps over hism again to get to the sink, then finds out that there's no running water available.

"...what have you done to the faucet?"

Of course, this means now he is wet on his back as well as his fornt.

"I'll fix it in a second. I am fixing it. Promise!"

"Sure you are," Claire objects. "Now I can't wash all this stuff I told Sonia I would."

It's terrible, really. Which is why she just dumps the stuff on the sideboard and sits on Sokka's chest.

EW HE'S WET.

"Soon you can wash iOOF."

Sokka is Very Sad to have a Claire on his lap, no, really, and is grinning up at her.

She makes him happy.

"I'll help you. When I've fixed the tap." Wet hands, one still holding a screwdriver, slip around her waist.

...the kitchen is a lot more... swampy than it should be. This does not bode well for cooking plans.

"Oh, it wasn't," Sokka assures her cheerfully, climbing back into the cupboard amid clanking noises. "Until I broke it. But now I'm fixing it and it'll be BETTER!"
