Having completed all her farm work for the day, Suki's decided that it's time to do some laundry. With so few clothes in her wardrobe, it's not a major chore. But it's a frequently necessary one. "a-ano..." There is a small and polite interruption.

"Wouldn't you rather do that inside?"

Windows 95 is not sure that one would want to wash laundry in water that is probably teeming with kraken poo.

"Ah, I see... That sounds like a useful feature." Perhaps more humans will have this new feature implemented!

"Oh, I suppose I ought to show you the washer. It makes laundry much easier." She starts toward the house with a Follow Me motion.

Suki seems reluctant to follow.

"I... er... I think I'm okay doing laundry this way. I'm not really used to machines yet. And, it's kinda relaxing."

She likes to work. She's a bit weird that way.

The mun would like her to know about the washer though, for his own peace of mind.

"If you change your mind, I'm sure someone could show you... You can find me in the hospital, if you like."

She excuses herself with another bow.

"Okay. Thanks. I might do that," Suki returns.

Smiling again, she offers a parting wave to the OS.

"Bye for now, Windows."

Now that she says it, the name strikes Suki as a bit odd, even in terms of the people she's met on Earth so far. She resolves to ask about it next time they meet.
