DMG-A reads the note and immediately goes looking for Jessica and an explanation.

Shouldn't take long, right?

Nope! Jessica is not very fast and only leaves the tunnels when she absolutely needs something.

"Hey."

"Hey. What's up with the note?"

"What it says: People from outside. Girl says she's a superhero, and some friends. She wants to help us get rid of the murderplants."

Then, because this is an amazing detail, "They're from Kansas." There is nothing in Kansas! NOTHING.
