T_T sadness.

Glenn (my Nanny's husband) tinkers and fixes clocks for a hobby, but as he's in Oklahoma I'm not sure that'd be any use. Hopefully it's not as bad as it looks, and the insides just need some minor tweaking, and then the glass replaced. But if it comes to it, you could probably get the music box installed in the newer models.

I'm really sorry to hear your mom is also taking it as a bad omen. It's hard to stay positive when bad things seem to keep coming but I hope your family can find the light at the end of the tunnel.

I contacted a slocksmith in Kaysville and said repairs are $125-$175 and that's without replacing parts. We know for sure the glass and the casing of the clock would need to be replaced. I guess Dad can take it apart and we can see if parts just need to be tweeked and whatnot. As for a new one, just don't have the money to spend on it ;(

I hope so too. But my optimism is vanishing as time goes on.
