Brief update in no particular order:

1) Work - I am working from home today, and posting on my lunch hour. It is awkward to work from home but not impossible.

2) Condo Board - I feel So Much Better since resigning from the Condo Board. Seriously. I can't believe what a difference it's been.

3) My Kindle - It came and one of the reasons why I' ( Read more... )

I almost never buy books from the kindle or my phone. I just buy them from the amazon website. It is so much easier. :)

I did try that out, and it did seem to be quite a bit easier. And faster.

Glad to hear that you're loving the Kindle! I totally knew you would. :-)

Sounds like there is a lot going on in your world! Glad to hear that resigning from the condo board is paying dividends for you!

Stock cars are certainly one alternative to walking! lol...

Wow... it sounds like you are going to be one crazily busy woman in the very near future!!!

So far, so good!

Yes, the crazy busy part has me somewhat concerned, but it isn't much more than what we were doing last year. If it proves to be too much, we can always drop an activity, and in fact I don't think we plan on continuing swimming again until spring/summer.

I didn't realise there was a Kindle app for Android... tempting! Maybe then I'd actually get off my bum and buy the Kindle versions of some of the books theafaye has published. Did you have to pay for the app or is it free?

When I first started swimming lessons when I was 5, I haaaated having to get my hair wet! I'd loved going to the pool and beach since I was 3 but never put my head under water. I don't recall exactly when that changed but by 7 I know I was definitely the water-baby I am today XD

I sure hope Alex gets to that point!

Today it was so funny - the swim instructor asked Alex to try to get her bangs wet (as in, put your face in the water), so Alex held her head upside down and pulled her bangs down to dip them in the water.

Anything to avoid it! LoL

Hahaha oh that's showing initiative!! I love it :D actually makes me think of Ella Enchanted which I just read - she HAS to obey any order, but she will often try and do so in the funniest of ways!
