At dinner the other night, I was bustling about the kitchen, when I gave myself a minor cut, which hurt in a paper-cut hurt kind of way.

"Oh FUCK!"

"Mommy, you shouldn't say 'fuck'. That's a bad word."

"You're right Alex, it is a bad word. Thank you for reminding me."

"No problem Mommy."

She just turned five.

priceless. Iris caught me saying "damn it" the other day and spent a long time asking, "why you call me 'damn it?'" and then, "mommy, you are such a damn it."

The IT. web guy and I were talking about bloggers today at work and I got to reminiscing about you and Joey Michaels and all my beloved bloggers of the EN/good old days! His face kinda went blank.. but I wandered off lost in a nice little fog of nostalgia.

My LJ has become a museum, but I also came back to grab an old story about a cleaning out a fridge after an eviction... annnnd... I couldn't just stop by w/o saying hi. so hey!
