It was such a catastrophic mess, that it was all we could do not to laugh!

She'd obviously tried to clean it up a little bit, as when we went to get some baby wipes, the container was covered in Peneten cream!

I hate myself for laughing but I am soooo glad my kids are grown and even 15 years after changing my last diaper, I know the feeling of Peneten and how waterproof it is.

Gosh.. did that not hurt her eyes rubbing them like that?

I'm sure it did. I was actually a little bit concerned about zinc poisoning and getting it in her eyes, but the container said to just rinse throughly, and once she'd calmed down and it was off her face, she didn't express any discomfort.

It's totally a pain! I wish I could say this is the first time she's gotten into the Peneten, but no... it's not. It's definitely the first time she's smeared a whole container of Peneten and vaseline though.
