You know, you should register erincraig.com. You don't necessarily have to put anything up, but it's a very good idea for a performer to register their own name
It's available - I just did a WHOIS on it. Hell, I can even help you out with hosting if you need.
Uh... ok? How much would it cost? I actually have no idea how the internet works... I'd like to register that, but if you help me out, you'd have to explain things like you'd explain them to a three-year-old :)
You know, I'm sure I replied to this through the box in the email, but I'll do this again.
There are two parts to a website... well, three that you need to worry about, I guess.
First of all, you need to register the domain name. You pick a registrar who'll charge you an annual fee: a portion of that fee goes to InterNIC or someone who runs the Intarweb.
Then, through that registrar, you set up your hosting. Often, the registrar can do hosting too, but I can set you up for hosting. At least for the meanwhile. Of course, you have to have a website to put up there.
Then you set up the email. I think that's set up through the hosting too, or something. I can sort the email. It's anythingthehellyouwant@erincraig.com
Kudos for going to the show even though you were afraid of being a dork! That's what keeps me from going to a lot of things that I should go to, so yay for overcoming your fear of dorky-ness! Also, how's the Wozzeck? I've always wanted to hear the whole opera, as I've only heard one little bit, which I really liked. I would go out and buy a copy myself, but as it happens, there's no music store of any kind in this wee town where I live. So fill me in! Then maybe I'll order it from Amazon or something. Kirstin
Haha, oh, Old English pronouns... I don't have facebook... but I think I might have to bit the bullet and do it, because you're not the only one who's told me I should get it. I mean... why hold out, hehe.

He played Josh's bass at the Yardbird Jazz Festival '05. Dave Holland's bass didn't make it on the plane for his show, so Kent was calling all the bassists in town to bring in their basses so he could pick one to play; I think Josh's, Mike Lent's and John's were there, and he picked Josh's. Needless to say, Josh was thrilled... to say the least... haha... I just remember going into the next big band rehearsal after that concert and Josh being unable to speak except for "Dave Holland played my bass... Dave Holland played my bass..." and I know you understand how big of a change that is for Josh :D
Jazz choir and big band together were great! We just pretty much sang those old arrangements of Glenn Miller with vocal parts (you know, they go like "Hi There Tex" in four-part harmony) and it was fun times. We're doing another show with them in December, for which I'm pumped already.
I miss you too... I'm glad we talked the other night... I definitely needed it :D

So that's the long and the short of it.
