is it really november?

So today, in case you don't keep up with the news (which I rarely do except in the case of listening to NPR and browsing NY Times), Bush vetoed the Child Health bill that had passed through Congress.

Here's my problem: He has spent upwards of $200 billion (and growing) on the war in Iraq, and this Child Health bill would have cost $35 billion. Bush ( Read more... )

4. i have a very dorky sense of humor which has been exponentially magnified since the commencement of med school.

so i started medical school. it's overwhelming. i have a bulging 2 inch binder that won't close full of lecture/reading material from ONE WEEK. i own four textbooks for this 3-week class. i will suffer through a mid-term tomorrow. although i've kept up with reading and preparation, i still don't feel prepared.
