Always around the new year, people on my flist report the number of books they've read in the year. I've never kept track, and am trying to do so this year. Unfortunately, I have been reading a lot lately and not keeping records

If you like sparse, concise writing, I have to ask you - have you read Rosemary's Baby by Ira Levin? I think it is one of the most brilliantly written books I've ever read.

No I haven't, but it's a great idea. I love horror and am especially scared by Satanic horror. I liked the movie, but it was so dated by the time I saw it - the book will be much more fun. Thanks! I'll put it on my list.
