New Due South vid: "Somebody Told Me"
I first got the idea for this vid a couple of weeks ago when I came across the above song. The pictures that came to mind however, were mainly of Ray and Ray, with a few scattered images of Fraser here and there. I think some parts work, but other parts are probably too long. I think towards the beginning of the vid, there was a tendency to have long clips because I liked certain movements like RayK holding up his hand as though there was some sort of confrontation going on which I felt fit in with the lyrics, but I probably should have done more cutting. Though, there wasn't a great deal to cut to, what with the lack of clips available. I debated whether or not to reduce the length or not. I was tempted to just use the ending, which I think is possibly one of my favourite parts of it, but then there was stuff here and there at the beginning that I liked as well. I think I should probably learn to be more ruthless with my editing, because I'm leaving stuff in for the sake of other stuff.
I quite enjoyed it.

Though I agree, Ray/Ray doesn't work for me. Little screen-time, major boundary issues. The most I can see is a little friendship/understanding.I'm not even sure I see any friendship between them, ( ... )
