New Due South vid: "Somebody Told Me"
I first got the idea for this vid a couple of weeks ago when I came across the above song. The pictures that came to mind however, were mainly of Ray and Ray, with a few scattered images of Fraser here and there. Let me first say that I'm not at all convinced by the pairing of Ray/Ray, but the fact that I haven't finished a vid in over two months swayed me to continue. Plus the idea of it kind of amused me, if I could make it work. I don't believe this vid tells any story, unless it's an AU universe and if some of the clips don't seem to work with the lyrics it's because when I started vidding it I thought they were something else and then later on I saw lyrics that looked completely different. So yeah, I still don't know exactly what the lyrics are meant to be, but I decided to go with it anyway, because as I said, I've not managed to complete a vid in two months. I think possibly the ending of the vid is the best part of it. It seems to flag in several places at the beginning which is probably because there just isn't enough decent clips containing both Rays. (Which may also explain why I don't really see the pairing, because they seem to spend less than ten minutes on screen together, at least going by the clips I was able to dig out.)
Warning: the vid contains the scene from COTW part 1 where Ray and Ray are in the dark corridor shooting their guns, I don't know if that scenes ever given anyone an epileptic fit, but I thought I'd give a warning just in case.
