Movie #6: The Man in the Iron Mask

That's the recent version with Gabriel Byrne and Jeremy Irons. Oh yes, rather fun - apart from John Malkovich, whose accent was so out of place that it was painful. In spite of that I think I'll have to pick this one up on DVD to add to my swashbuckling collection, although there's definitely a part of me that regrets that they never made the

It's also a little painful watching Leonardo diCaprio being acted off the screen.

I wasn't expecting diCaprio to be anything more than eye candy in the first place so it wasn't too bad. The jarring intrusion of the accent into well-acted scenes was far more obvious to me.

Nice mandelions though. :)
