Loki Agent of Asgard

Of interest only to me, probably.

Going to see Thor: Ragnarok reminded me that I'd never finished reading Loki Agent of Asgard, the comics series by Al Ewing and Lee Garbett, which I have in graphic novel form.

More behind cut, with spoilers for it.

It was of interest to me! I'd heard of this series but didn't really know what it was about. Unfortunately I share your caution about Marvel comics so I don't want to get dragged in to the Marvel Comics Universe. If there isn't much Thor and Loki interaction I won't bother to hunt the series down as after Thor: Ragnarok that's what I'm really interested in, but it's nice to know that Loki changed his own fate by becoming god of stories. Thanks for reading this for me :)

Well, it was a pleasure, for the most part. ;)

Loki still exists! But my favorite series is Squirrel Girl. It's basically outside Marvel canon and exists independently of the big events, is super positive and smart, and features strong female characters. I love that series SO MUCH.

He does? Ooh, what's he up to now, and what version of the character is he?

Hmm...well, I've avoided all of the big events recently, but the last I saw him, he showed up in Ms. Marvel as a trickster. I'm not sure what version of him it was otherwise. (I tend to be very selective about my Marvel comics.)

I understand that completely. I think I'm down to only wanting to read things with Loki in them. And even then only certain versions of him.

I read The Mighty Thor in graphic novels and Loki is currently a double agent, pretending to be bad again but really undercover for Frigga. I think. It gets confusing!

Is this the latest version of Mighty Thor with female Thor?

Hmm, sounds suitably ambiguous, though I would be disappointed if he became a flat out villain again.

Yup it’s the one with female Thor and I’ve enjoyed it. Marvel seem to be sticking with ambiguous Loki. For the moment anyway.

That's good. Maybe I'll give it a look.
