You could say I'm looking back on '06 with "wonder," as it was the year I finally got to see Small Wonder again, after it went off the air in the early 1990s. Before Married with Children and long before Smallville and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I could NOT miss this show. Absolutely my favorite thing from childhood.

Three years after I began moving into my apartment, November turned out to be one thing after another -- not to mention one day of rain after another.  You've all heard how it rains all the time in Seattle and indeed, Nov 06 turned out to be our rainiest month in history, with over 15 inches (and even some snow days).

Over a year since SvsSII, the third meetup with puperazzi was at last a success. In what was one of the weirdest things I've seen on TV, 7th Heaven indeed returned last week following the series finale on The WB.  Making it even more awkward, one of the actors who seemed to drop off the show suddenly, returned as a regular.  But hey, I'll gladly take another year of Lucy and Kevin... and Haylie Duff.

- Kinda going through a transition right now.  I quit the AIM chatroom I had been going to 1 to 6 times a week for over 2 years. Review of my trip to Cali with mom and dad, July 11-16:

ARRIVAL/NIGHT 1 - Got to the airport around 8:30 Tuesday morning.  I had been at Sea-Tac once many years ago when we picked up a relative, but this was my first real experience at an airport.  It was rather spacious and we got through to the gate pretty quick and smoothly.  Plane took off ( Read more... )

Boy, I'm glad Memorial Day weekend is over.  Those holiday weekends really do it.  Looking foward to an extra day off this week for a Jewish Holiday and taking the evening off next Saturday for dinner with family and relatives.
