Spent a nice day off with my sister on Tuesday, who was in town from L.A. for a week and a half.

First we drove to the U-District for my check-up at the dentist, while she hung out and shopped for an hour.  Then we went downtown to Chinatown and checked out Pink Godzilla, the retro/import video gaming store. I was amazed at all the anime/Japanese ( Read more... )

Now that Power Morphicon is over a week past, I've had plenty of time to reflect back on it and the trip to L.A.  It was wonderful to meet past Rangers, this years cast and get autographs and pics.  It wasn't quite the perfect weekend I had imagined and some things could've gone better, but just the fact this finally happened after being announced ( Read more... )

- Well, 7th Heaven's REAL overdue ending finally came.  It was a decent episode for the season that almost didn't happen.  The flashbacks in the opening credits was a nice touch.  I wasn't surprised by the lack of returning cast after last years "last episode" on the old WB Network.  So goodbye Camdens.  It was a great 11 years.
