So f00dave was away in California for a week, and I spent my time cleaning like whoa. My room has a bare floor and furniture uncluttered with leaning piles anymore! I even organized my bookshelf, which has been on my I'll-get-around-to-it-sometime list ever since I moved here several years ago

Yup! That was her. She was sweet-faced, but pretty cranky much of the time. I liked her bitchy attitude. Heheh....

My old ladycat passed a couple years ago--I know what you mean about not wanting to just leave her there. It tore me up to discover the vet hospital where she passed away has turned into a spa, but if kitties have ghosts, I like the idea of her spirit prowling the halls and glaring balefully at soccer moms having their mani-pedis.

I'm sad to hear about Tasselhoff. I had a similar hard time when we put Smudge down. She was there and then wasn't anymore.
