I loved that book too! I actually made myself a spy belt and ran around my neighborhood, solving imaginary crime. (It was all very impressive)

OMG, it was amazing. I had on my mom's 80s stretch belt and I sewed pockets onto it from an old pillowcase. I stuck all kinds of useful tools in there like a blush brush (to dust for fingerprints! Although I had no ink powder...)

I wanted Ole Golly to be my nanny! I don't remember the swearing bit, but I remember feeling absolutely sick to my stomach when she lost her notebook. *My* spy notebook was always closely guarded!

Haha. I'm in the same timezone as you and I have to clean my house before company arrives tomorrow. I keep scrubbing a single square inch of countertop and getting distracted.

As for Harriet the spy, it wasn't until I wrote Kaylee's line that I was like, "Ohhh! Look what I did!" And I felt really badly about killing Harriet :(
