MJ vs. the military

So, I was invited this morning to join a cause on Facebook: "Support the 13 Troops Who Gave Their Lives & Never got a Headline because of Michael Jackson." And it just frustrated me so much! I mean, yes, the men and women who fight to protect their countries are brave and amazing. But military service is not the ONLY way to be valuable to humanity

Yeah, soldiers go to war and die, but they do it through their own choices.

Michael helped many, including dying children who did not choose to put their health/lives at stake.

Whats done is done,just because they made a facebook page doesnt mean we can go back in a time and change the headlines.They should have been given a headline but they werent,its not Michaels fault he died =/

If the media wanted to discuss the troops, then they would. Unforunately destroying MJ's character as much as possible is more important to them.

Did the media even talk about the troops much even before MJ died? anyway, they should take issue with the media who bust a nut for any insignificant MJ news
