Ohhh this could not have come at a worse time. Even before Michael died, I've been feeling an overwhelming sense of not fitting in, being dubbed "the weird one" by my family, and just generally being misunderstood by most everyone in my life. Aw, that sucks. I think most of the people in my life are pretty sick of hearing about Michael but none of them have said anything like that to me. :(

Yeah, I agree with most people in my life being sick of it- but if you look at my status update, it didn't even MENTION Michael...so this really came out of left field.

Yeah, that's true but perhaps he associates Neverland with Michael. Either way, it was pretty insulting how he replied to you. He could of just asked you to quit sending him questions or something along those lines.

i had one girl respond to a blog i posted on facebook; it was all about MJ and what i felt. basically, she said she agreed and then went on to expain her anger at the media for not taking other issues seriously "mj died. it happens. death happens to everyone." I'm so sorry hun and I wish I could be there RL for you and give you love and support for this.

I got almost the same reaction from one of my family member's. My cousin had to send me a short and nasty email about him. The main problem for me, is me and my cousin, we grew up together, we are damn near sibling's and he knows and knew my love of MJ growing up and my obession with him.

This was the message he sent me:
he was a disgusting fuck and deserved to die.
he was guilty and the world knows it.
he was never going to be convicted of his crimes because of his "icon" status, so he would always be free to do those gross things again and again.
the only thing im dissapointed about is that it wasnt a murder, a vicious horrible murder

I have still yet to respond it to and probably never will, I just don't want to deal with it. Luckly, my roommate knows and understands my love for MJ and met some new people who also do.

Wow wtf? That is so rude. You have every right to be sad about MJ without being labeled weird. Who asked for his opinion anyway? FFS. And damn Im surprised you didnt tell him to fuck off lol. One of my friends made a not so nice comment about MJ today and already that made me all FLAMES ON THE SIDE OF MY FACE!

Your brother sounds like a total douchebag. I'm sorry that he was so rude and insulting to you. If he didn't like the question, he shouldn't have replied.

Thankfully, my family liked Michael a lot, and we all plan to watch the memorial tomorrow, so I don't have to worry about them calling me a weirdo for caring about this.
