What do people enjoy when reading these entries?

Do you like to read about the everyday, how you're doing kind of thing?

What particular guys you think are bone-melting at the time? Actually, that's a stupid question. Who doesn't like to chat about that?

What your kids or your four-legged kids have been up to?

Are you good with reading about shows you may have no particular interest in? I've gotta ( Read more... )

I really do appreciate that aspect of other people's posts. You never know what you can get hooked on.:D

You know, I can't tell you what makes one post more interesting than another. I enjoy reading personal stuff, especially if I can relate to whatever the poster is going through. Others I barely skim and move on. Can't say why.

And I don't usually read about shows I don't watch, but the little bits you've shared about Walking Dead makes the show seem interesting.

And yeah, I'll talk about hot hotness. Any. Time. :D

Bottom line is one huge shrug. I dunno.

I'm pretty much the same in that respect. I think it's whatever I"m in the mood for.

TWD - Try it!! Such wonderful characters.

Hmmm... there should be more hotness discussion. There can never be enough of that. It's like chocolate.:D

Appreciate your thoughts!

You're right, there should be more hotness discussions. I realized recently that I don't talk about my boys at my LJ much anymore, which simply can't be allowed to continue!

*nods emphatically*

I second the motion. Let the hotness discussions commence! I don't know who your boys are. That's all kinds of wrong.

Honestly, each person is different for me.

I do like hearing more personal stuff, though--posts that are just spam of pictures and things I don't focus on as much, just to make sure I can read the more personal entries. But I like to read the gamut, unless it's a show that I don't know about, then I might skip it.

Gotta say that holds true for me. Although, I am learning to tune in a bit more when people talk about the shows they like. You just never know what'll click.:D

We'll chat about Haven. There's plenty to love there.:)

It depends what sort of mood I'm in. I quite like reading a bit of real-life stuff, except that these days I'm not using LJ much apart from when I feel the need for some fanfic.
I take it you recommend The Walking Dean then? It's just about to start showing over here.
(hope you're well)

I absolutely recommend it. Great story telling with wonderfully dimensional characters. And Andrew Lincoln as Deputy Rick Grimes is totally swoonable. I have a weakness for guys who can walk and run in cowboy boots without looking awkward. It's an art.:D

You'll have to let me know what you think if you decide to give it a whirl.

Pretty good here. How about you?
