Do you like to read about the everyday, how you're doing kind of thing?

What particular guys you think are bone-melting at the time? Actually, that's a stupid question. Who doesn't like to chat about that?

What your kids or your four-legged kids have been up to?

Are you good with reading about shows you may have no particular interest in? I've gotta ( Read more... )

Funny thing, I enjoy reading a bit about what's going on with other people. But I rarely post anything myself, since I feel that nobody else wants to hear about my boring/sometimes unhappy/sometimes okay life.

I also enjoy the hotness, and hearing about shows that others are interested in. It took a while, but after enough people (not necessarily on lj) kept saying how funny Big Bang Theory is I tried watching it for the THIRD time. And the third time was the charm--it's the only sitcom I've watched in years.

I'm always interested to see what others are watching. I'm enjoying the total squee over Hawaii Five-O, even though I absolutely can't see the slash there. (Friendship yes.) It's a great show, so I still like following along and reading everyone's opinions on what happens each week.

You're alive! We should confer on TVs shows, etc. again! Maybe I'll get around to an email in the next month or two. (Maybe three...)

I know. I subscribed to you on AO3, and then felt guilty that I haven't corresponded in a while. It's not just you--I owe so many emails.

I'd love to see more from you! Cos, really, I think we all feel the same about 'who wants to hear about my boring/sometimes unhappy/sometimes okay life'.

Now I might have to check out Big Bang Theory since sitcoms are not something I watch. At all.

Now Hawaii Five-0.:D That's just fun. I can see why people see slash. It's just isn't my default. I do enjoy the friendship aspect of the show between all four characters. Granted, Steve and Danny are more center stage, but Chin and Kono are great in the mix.

And Hi! It is great to hear from you.:)

You know... that's such an interesting question. I like discovering what new shows people squee about (and that definitely includes eye candy!). Personal stuff - that, too, in moderation. I feel like I get a better understanding of the world when people post about what's going on in their worlds. Be that geographic or economic ravages in their home countries, or the frustrations of being a single mom or whatever.

On the other hand, I will confess that when folks friend me, I check their posting frequency and if they post every day or so (esp. about personal lives or fandoms I'm not interested in) then I tend not to friend them back! The frequency that you guys post is about perfect for me!

Everything should include eye candy.:D I think what it is coming down to for me is I love the randomness of what shows up on the flist. Admittedly, I'm not much for reading about anyone's aches, pains, sickness in detail - I think I get too much of it at work - but yeah, what you said, that is what I find interesting.

Heh... my posting is so haphazard. Glad it works for you!

I like all of the above :D That's the best part of LJ for me - getting those glimpses into other people's lives, things you'd never know about if not for their post. Does it matter that SuZQ had roast beef for dinner? No, but it gives me a damn good idea on what I want to cook :D

Every time I see that icon, I think I'm back in my own journal :D Gives me such a happy!

I've decided it is the randomness of what shows up on the flist that keeps me interested. I like having people that have varied interests since focusing on one thing isn't something I want to do entertainment wise. Love that variety.

This icon makes me very happy and I always send you a silent thank you for the sharing of it.:D

Hmm... when do we get a continuation of TWD review?

I agree - the randomness of it is very cool :D I learn all kinds of neat stuff from my flist!

For you darlin', I was happy to share :D You appreciate Rick as much as I do <3

Today, actually :o) I got the spams ready and then didn't get chance to rewatch - I'm going to work on it this morning so *cross fingers* it should be up this afternoon :D

Everything is good for me. I enjoy reading about all things when I am able to. I found out about the walking dead and justified by reading my reading some recs from my flist.

Hope you ladies are well.

take care

I think that is one of the best things about having a flist. The stuff you get into that you normally wouldn't know about or think about.:)

Things are good. Hope the same for you.:)
