gave decent English presentation. Prof asked to steal part of my powerpoint for something she's presenting at conference. Am wondering if she will give me credit, or just plagiarize with permission.
subsequently stayed up until 6:00 AM finishing paper on same topic as presentation. Am not sure paper was required in addition to ( Read more... )

I liked the charcoal watercolor combo. And yes, based on proffy's comments in class to you how had you not figured out the talent for watercolor yet? Or just in denial b/c you prefer charcoal?

I'm really insecure about mediums that you can't erase. Watercolor is a little more flexible that way than pen and ink, but I still really like that you can smear and erase and lighten with charcoal and graphite and conte crayon.

And by the way, your charcoal drawings of the grave -- fantastic. I was too zonked to say anything about them in class, but I really like how they turned out.

Yeah, erasing is one of those things that I'm not always good at (why won't this work in a smaller area?) but I really like to have. The permanency is a bit too permanent. And I'm not always sure how to work around those errors, especially with ink, but even with watercolor. So your complaint makes sense.
