How it all went well anyway

My plans for the day included a charity luncheon, but Mike wasn't feeling well and has been training someone at work the last few days and forgot to get tickets. I was horribly disappointed which was magnified by being at about pain level 5 all day. (5 isn't bad for a couple of hours, but all day it wears on your nerves)

That sounds like my kind of thrift store. *sigh*

That and Bishop's Attic! I think you'd love BA as well with there 3/1.00 "work clothes" rack which has stained and worn clothes that are really less than new looking. That's my hands down favorite. It feels like a really big multi-family garage sale.

My family is gradually getting sucked up into Alaska, but Grandma is adamant about not even going for a visit. I'm sure I'll end up there some day!

Sounds like a perfect day! Wonder if I'd be able to keep claustrophobia at bay long enough to go to SCS when we finally make it up there for a visit...

Now I really want some wool blankets. And tackle boxes... and... LOL

*hugs*

It's a good question for sure. I can keep mine at bay in there because it never occurs to me to be uncomfortable. I'm too busy poking through drawers and looking around. There was an old box for a propane torch I almost got. It was an empty box I thought would be great turned into a shrine but I managed to resist while chortling in glee over the typewriter.
We were considering needle felting on one of the wool blanket scarves. Probably a skull and crossbones design. I need to pick up some felting needles!

If you can't find the needles locally, check out www.joggles.com

And yeah, needle felting is exactly what I had in mind. :-) I want to design a purse.
