Ok, it is annoying enough to me that the woman on the other side of my cubicle wall plays the radio all day long. Dude, it's called HEADPHONES. But I can deal with that...what I am having trouble dealing with right now is that ANOTHER person on that side of the cubicle wall has on ANOTHER radio with a DIFFERENT radio station on! I don't, but I'll look into this option! I also didn't know there was a mobile version of LJ. Would this let me get into LJ easier on my Palm?

If you use Google Reader, you can use this tool:
http://blog.lj.abnib.co.uk/2008/11/26/livejournal-to-google-reader-v20/

It treats each friend's journal as a feed.

You can track everyone's journal using the LJ messaging feature and you'll get an LJ message whenever someone updates.

On every comment there's a "Track" link or maybe a thumbtack button. Click on that and it'll give you the option to track replies to a single post or another user's journal. Failing all that, this is the link it directed me to when I tried to track this post: http://www.livejournal.com/manage/subscriptions/entry.bml?journal=shakenbysound&itemid=446763. You could probably remove the "itemid" part.

Basically I get an e-mail every time pallagia updates, and the message telling me she's updated also shows up in the LJ messages page.

Headphones are the answer, not for your neighbors but for you. I have the in ear variety and when my officemate puts on the radio it gets blocked out and all I hear is what I want to.
