Strawberries! I too have been craving, eating, and desiring to plant strawberries (although this last is now unfortunately not a possibility thanks to the changing winds of fate). But not for jam. For delicious strawberry shortcake (aka the bread pudding my family CALLS shortcake) and just for eating in general, which I shall do until I break out into a rash because I happen to be mildly allergic but love strawberries so much that I do not care.

I am excited about the ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES here; we're planning to use some of the kale and strawberries and some eggs to make a salad, and Mom's almost definitely going to put up jam. Also: SHORTCAKE, though at our house this referred to literal shortcake rather than a bread-pudding-like food (though that has possibilities too; I do not recall having partaken of this treat, but I possibly never did).

Not to egg you on here, but planting may still be a possibility; all you need is a strawberry pot and some dirt. (We like Miracle Gro; it's expensive, but you really do get what you pay for.) Count the number of holes; that's the number of plants you'll need. HAVE FUN~

Oh, and I hope the slings and arrows of outrageous Fortune (and Bank One) work out for the best. ♥
