That sounds like quite the adventure. Also, Hindsight = fuckwits y/y? I am curious as to who they actually are, but suspect it's a moot point at the moment as the name is not close enough to either Comcast or Verizon, which is what I'm stuck with. The Comcast service irks me but at least their techs are funny. Or just rude, take your pick. The one that came out to turn on our cable when we first moved in took one look at our apartment and said, to quote, "You guys are nerds, aren't you." Followed a few minutes later by, "You don't have any children, do you." Lack of question marks in said quotes is intentional.

I chose to see this as totally hilarious, because it's true and apparently obvious to anyone entering my home, but well, what a thing to say to a customer!

FUCKWITS Y/YYYYYY. Hindsight is fairly local (Indiana/Kentucky/Ohio; apparently they also have some offices in New York). Since this is a public post, I am not going to name them explicitly, but let's say that if you take out the initial H and the D, and then add "cable" onto the name and google them, you should be able to find them relatively quickly. XD Also, it might be pertinent to know that they're constantly running ads in the paper and on the Int0rbuttz for sales staff (of the door-to-door variety) and tech people, which suggests that there perhaps is not a whole lot of training or emphasis on actual technical skill.

I lol'd, though I'm offended when people call me a nerd; I am not a nerd. I am a geek, and occasionally a t00b, but geeks are higher on the social ladder than nerds. XD
