Still no home Internet. Long, ordealy story here, but basically, we had to order a part (TWICE) and now there seems to be some kind of line issue so hopefully the tech will be out tonight to fix it and I can make the next post at my leisure from my home and do things like shop for underwear at 2 a.m. if I feel like it. You're not missing too much on my end. Watching Asian horror movies and not getting any sleep, but I don't mind. THEY ARE AWESOME!! :D

Tea is what quenches my thirst, thank you very much, Lithium. :C Water and canned juice make me gag, so much so to the point where I'm close to having a date with the toilet.

The computer sure seems to have a grudge against you, or the people who are supposed to be repairing it and making your life easier are bearing a grudge. Do I have to come out there and kick them with steel-toed boots?

I have some shooped crap for you! I was making you an icon, but I fucked up and the text turned out to be illegible when I shrank it to 100x100, so you're stuck with this useless-ass thing. I'll go e-mail it to you now. Maybe you can find a use for it.

I now have home Internets! The tech came out shortly after my penultimate post was written. ^_^

It's not useless. It made me happy and I did a little desk chair dance when I found it in my email!

Success! Internet! I don't know how you survived so long without it. Not only for personal use, but Internet has become necessary for everything - paying bills, applying for jobs, communicating with jobs and school, and all those other things that are only convenient as long as you actually have a connection. I shudder to think of you trekking to the library all the time for the practically-required contraption that is the Internet.

Also, we now have DSL, which is awesomesauce. I don't know how we managed without it for so many years, srsly. (Oh, right: moneys.) It does serve the v. necessary purposes of a.) my watching as much YouTube as possible, and b.) communicating with ukelettes, who are required to sustain life. (Apparently, ukelettes perform a biological function whereby they act as filters, eliminating much of the crap in life or rendering it less serious.)
