So X-chan called today. She lives in Arizona, and she's been having some scorpion issues lately. One of them was wandering around the house with its tail drooping; we can't be sure, but we think the SpastiCat got to it (she was always big on pulling the legs off bugs that got into the house during the winter). X-chan thought it would die shortly

Seriously, though, a recommended course of action would be "never, ever moving to the Southwest". You will be delighted to know that Indiana is too cold for scorpions to flourish, however. :D

Strangely enough, I have no real urge to move there. Hopefully all will be well!

(I do, however, wish to travel to parts of Australia with scorpions. Hopefully they'll be extinct by then.)

Eww, scorpions! O.o *hides* I'm not going to Arizona! Cat doesn't like to have scorpions wandering around her home. Not spiders either. Spiders are evil and should selfdestruct. Well, the tiny ones can be kept around to keep nature functioning correctly.
