( Whilst I was grumbling about the absence of e-mail, it did not occur to me to check on my support ticket through the control panel because I am rather fuckwitted sometimes )

Aww, don't feel bad, a few weeks' delay in seeing my site updated hasn't hurt me yet. ^_^ And it works now. Whoo! One question though: should I delete the files in the old directory, or doesn't it matter?

I doubt it matters; if you leave them in the old directory, odds are nobody will ever see them anyway. ^^;
