But aside from that, they're both pretty codependent, the difference is it's epic and beautiful in Wuthering Heights, and totally pathetic and stupid in Twilight.

I find this both hysterically funny and a surprisingly wise marketing decision.

While you know what works of literature I REALLY equate Twilight to, Wuthering Heights is another ancestor. Yet another unhealthy love story to be fetishized for all time! Now with more (less?) necrophilia.

Edward/Bella only gets to win out over Heathcliff/Cathy if Edward decides to inflict an even more inspid Twilight:The Next Generation, on Bella's kids.
