Friday we were supposed to head out to Woodville for the LARP event. However it was canceled due to the rain. So I was suddenly presented with an unplanned weekend. Of course this also meant that I could stay late to help out with a workstation delivery that we had happening at work. Sigh. I'm a little in the opposite end with my 15 year old. I'm realizing we/I have to start reminding her to do things like turn off everything in her room..not leave wet towels on the floor to sit for 2 weeks..flush the toilet..throw away used tissues..

I've been doing that stuff for 5 years. I'm done. She gets worse as she gets older and matures. Her mother encourages her laziness until it inconveniences the Mon.I'm done being the fixer. I'm fixing me instead and allowing some time for me. To hell with everybody else at this point. ;-)
