I am reminded of a co-worker. Very Goth. Combat boots, trench coat. Highly developed sense of sarcasm. Spiky hair. You know the sort I'm talking about, right? But he and his wife recently had a daughter.

He started screaming on Instant Message one day, "She spoke! She said DADA!!!!!! Oh My God! She said DADA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" (I am not exaggerating the number of exclamation points here.)

So go ahead. Yeah, you look like a dork. But it's worth it.
