I got a belated father's day visit and now I feel... lost.

Heh. Well she's not technically my granddaughter. It's a few generations further removed than that.

Thank you. It's not as if I've never had any other descendants either, it's just she's the only one I still know of.
Anyhow, Bridgielove brought me a lovely rose and a good dinner and now she's having me eat butterscotch ice cream, so I do feel better.
