Also admittedly, I come at it as both a die-hard slasher and a resident of Terry-Moore-land where I DO NOT LIKE MEN GODDAMMIT!1! from Katchoo means... a lot of things, most of them not subtle either, just confused. So yeah, I'm always likely to lean towards the ambiguous until someone says otherwise. (Like, whoa, did I ever slash Kartane/Daemon in my head, admittedly only one-sided, and read Daemon as ... I dunno, a Kinsey 2 or so!)

The Karla in my head may never have a sexual relationship, and that's fine. The Karla in my heart is the victim of some major unrequited love, but has just learned to deal with it. Someday she'll meet Anne's other gay character and BE IN LOVE (accidental but wholly appropriate capslock).
