I genuinely do not have the mental distance to be able to tell if that was a good film or not. The comic is too big an influence on me. It was a pretty decent adaptation, even though Zach Synder does this thing with slo-mo and close ups that makes sex and violence more graphic and I really hate it. Seriously, if you cut that shit out you could have ( Read more... )

I think you need to go read John C. Wright's review of the film.

Oh no, not copious fornication!

The Question is a perfectly remorseless because perfectly just character. Moore decided to portray him as a nutbag.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. I rly don't need to add anything there.

I will admit there were a couple of times I went 'Jesus, that line is cheesy... wait, that's from the comic!'

The sex scene is a work of comic genius! I fucking cried laughing. I will never again be able to listen to Hallelujah without laughing.

Oh no, I can't see this movie! I love that song too much. :(

If it be your will. :(

If the song is ruined for me, I can blame you instead of myself! This is working out perfectly. :D

I haven't seen it yet but Hallelujah for a sex scene sounds cheesy.

I am still looking forward to it though.

It transcends cheesy! The rest of it is pretty good about being serious, though.

I haven't seen Watchmen yet, but this is the frame of mind I wish to be in when I finally go see it. Sadly, I will probably laugh to myself whenever Jeffrey Dean Morgan graces the screen with his talented and handsome presence, much to the confusion of my boyfriend :'(
