I genuinely do not have the mental distance to be able to tell if that was a good film or not. The comic is too big an influence on me. It was a pretty decent adaptation, even though Zach Synder does this thing with slo-mo and close ups that makes sex and violence more graphic and I really hate it. The Question is a perfectly remorseless because perfectly just character. Moore decided to portray him as a nutbag.

Originally, Moore was writing for some Charlton Comics characters (which DC had bought the rights too) until a point where they decided they wanted them usuable afterwards...

So Night Owl is Blue Beetle (and a word without Booster/Beetle is as scary as one with added Nixon), Rorshach you know already and Doc Manhattan is very tenuously related to Captain Atom.
