I agree wholeheartedly that we must find more interesting things for Sam to do while Dean and Cas are at it. ::nods::

I've had several people tell me that I should check out Southland and, believe me, I meant to but after seeing that video it got moved to the top of the list. Like right now.

I would highly recommend you give Southland a try! Cooper and Sherman are amazing! What I especially love about Sherman is how different he is from the usual rookie cops on TV. So many have are hot-shot types with big egos or are just insecure scaredy-cats. Sherman, on the other hand, watches and internalizes. And as you see in the video, he especially watches Cooper a lot. ;-)

I just finished watching the pilot and boy do I see what you mean. I think I only watched about 5 episodes of The OC but it's still nice to see Ben McKenzie transition so smoothly into such a complex character. Both actors are amazing. Thanks for the really lovely nudge to watch it.
