I had forgotten you were a Tour de France fan. *grins* It's amazing how it does that to you, though. I always mean to get so much done in the morning while it's on, and the next thing I know they're almost at the finish and three hours have evaporated!

I hope they show an interview with Cavendish about that call me thing today. I'm desperately curious.

Oh yeah, I grew up watching the Tour. :-D I'm not usually a live-watcher, but I like to catch the extended coverage later in the day. Do you have a favorite this year?

About the phone call gesture, even though I did see him pointing to his jersey, I totally didn't get that Cavendish was giving a shout-out to the sponsor, HTC, a mobile phone company. ::smacks head:: Well, he better have free phone service for life for that stunt. ;-)

I don't have a favorite to win, but there are folks I'm having a particularly good time watching: Lance,
Cavendish, Cancellara, Evans, a few others. And while I don't want Lance to win--let the new generation have their turn--I do want him on the podium, if only to quiet his detractors a bit.

And thank you for solving the mystery of the phone call gesture! I was baffled.
