But seriously though, KEEP HER AWAY FROM VAMPIRE KNIGHT! Twilight is bad enough, she doesn't need more emo vampires! And these are PEDO emo vampires! And if she insists on vampires AT LEAST make her read/watch Hellsing! (Kingdom Hearts is always welcome, however)
She only knows Tokyo, huh? *twitch* Undoubtedly, your duty is clear. There must be long emails/phone calls made in which to educate her. We all start as noobs, but with caring friends and relatives we can make their noob years as short as possible. Only YOU can prevent noobish fangirls! (and if you want to talk to her about Kyoto, feel free to ask me anything. In fact, please do. Tokyo sucks.)
P.S: Unfortunately the number of schools that actually teach Japanese are few and far between, despite the rise in popularity. Her chances aren't very high. But there's always community classes and enterprising folk, so she should keep up the search.
