Thank you! It was important for me as well that Eric finally understood Ryan, even if he didn't completely agree with him. And yes, Ryan hid himself really well. Eric realized that it was going to be a heck of a challenge to find him again. He really had to prove how much he was willing to fight for Ryan.

I'm so pleased Horatio worked out in this chapter. I tried to capture his mannerisms when I wrote this. :D

Phew! Eric finally stop being so reluctant to try to understand from Ryan's side of the whole thing.
And his denial at the beginning when he knew Ryan left again? Oh, the pain... Not to mention the 14 months!

There's only one chapter left?? =o

Thank you! I wanted to make it painful for Eric too, especially after he'd hurt Ryan in the beginning. ;D

Wow I hope Ryan was willing to give Eric a lot of time, because 14 months...damn! I don't know if I could be that patient! LOL But maybe it was more cat and mouse hmmm...

I like how you wrote H in here, I felt it was done very nicely canon-like ^_^

And I've been trying to think, curse my oatmeal brains, how did I prompt the chapter title exactly? I know that's the title of a Neko Case song but perhaps that's just a cooincidence @_@ LOL

It was definitely a lot of cat and mouse. Ryan made good on wanting Eric to fight for them by finding him. He really knew how to make Eric work hard for it. *lol*

Thank you. I'm glad Horatio was in character. I tried to picture what he might do and how he might say things when I wrote this.

Oh, it was a long time ago, and it's not a coincidence that it's a Neko Case song. I had an entry asking for prompts, and this was one of the ones you gave. There were others too (with links to the songs), but this one worked out really well for the chapter. =)
