So, in case you haven't heard, Saddam Hussein has been convicted of crimes against humanity and sentenced to death by hanging. Normally, I don't like to bring up politics, partly because the views of my flist fall toward all ends of the political spectrum, but I'd like to adress this issue from a journalistic perspective.

The Golden Compass is all goodness and the Subtle Knife is quite enjoyable as well. Have you seen the stuff about the movie of the Golden Compass coming out. Nicole Kidman is playing Mrs. Coulter...hehe.

All I'll say to this is that the news media in America has reached a point where I and many other youths like me would rather trust The Daily Show with John Stewart than CNN, FOX, or any other major "serious" news outlet in the nation.

That says to me that something here is very, very wrong.
