OMG I'm so fangirling you at the moment because your review is the best thing written EVAR. I mean it ALL, from the CAPS!LOCKs to the swearing to the veering off to Twilight and True Blood and THANK GOD someone else sees the same thing I do! Your last paragraph is exactly what I was thinking until it gave me a headache, TRUFAX. Them Tylenols better kick in soon.
BUT this was the best review I've ever ever ever read of an episode. His Most Holy Hotness = ♥
still reading your review which so far is hilarious and spot on but had to comment about the true blood and twilight paragraph =] true blood is based on a book series by Charlaine Harris that started years before the twilight books were even thought about Here is a link to her web page if you want to check them out http://www.charlaineharris.com/ They are worth the read in my opinion =]
Ok back to the giggle fest and head nodding of reading your wonderful review
I was so floored by this episode it wasn't even funny. I mean it was a HUGE amount of information and yet raised so many more questions. Kripke is truly a master when he's not being an evil bastard. :P Thanks for the reply!

Hehehe
Dean to me is ALWAYS vulnerable - his whole character, to me, always has been. There's just something that's very RAW to Dean - different from Sam. Sam is raw in his own way, but he's also that much more heart-on-his-sleeve too.
I can't help myself - Castiel is just...GUH. I'm not sure he's 100% good or perhaps we'll find out it's all like a complete flip - the bad guys are good and the good guys are bad - you never know with Kripke, but I can't help my like Misha no matter what anyway.
I don't like explanations like "destiny can't be changed" or it's predetermined and shit like that - I think by making an episode like this you FORCE the issue and a simple explanation like that just falls short.

SERIOUSLY! I was so intrigued/appalled by True Blood I had to watch.
My mind was so on over-drive that I think I got about an hour and a half of sleep last night. LOL I'm sooooooo tired.
Thanks so much for reading - I'm glad you enjoyed it so much!
His Most Holy Hotness = canon!

Why indeed? Just because she was strong enough?
