Okay, hit me. Hit me hard. Very hard, and repeatedly.

I need to think about Shikamaru a little more. Ask me questions. Any questions. Camp based, relationships, canon-based, anything. Seriously. ... Or not so seriously, but just anything.

I want to discuss things. Need to. I just don't know where to start.

How would Shikamaru feel if Temari came to camp?

That's a tricky question.

I think Shikamaru considers Temari to be one of his closer friends, right behind his teammates (3 and 5 man) and Asuma probably. She saw him at his absolute weakest point, and she's seen him become a whole lot stronger.

There's a lot of repect for her on Shikamaru's part, and I won't disguise the fact that I tend to think of them as fuckbuddies (whether a Te-mun would agree with that is up to the future), but I think he would enjoy the challenge of having her in camp. There's a lot of back-n-forth between them. They give and take pretty well.

So, I guess to answer the question posed, he'd be pleased to have her here. Even though here is a zombie-infested hell-hole, he'd enjoy it.

What are his thoughts on Sasuke, now that he's around, after everything the genins went through to try and retrieve him from his barrel escapade?

This is hard because he really hasn't had much camp-based interaction with Sasuke. He's wary of him in any case. He knows Sasuke left and went a long way out of his way to stay gone - nearly killing Naruto in the process. He doesn't think that he's just going to turn around and come back, or that any ties or friendships reformed in camp are going to last once the barrier's down ( ... )

Also, does he have a taking/go/chess buddy yet? haven't gotten past the Kabuto/Tsunade fight so I dunno anything else to ask about him canon-related }D
