I got an estimate from the mechanic. They figure around $400.If it's only the ball joint. He got rather wide eyed and told me that it was a good thing that we were going sloooow or we could have flipped. And likely be dead. Urk.

Wow. Even a simple, "No, we're also in a hurry, we're sorry," would have been better than that. People really do suck.

But, I'm glad you're okay, and that you got to enjoy part of the con!

Oh. I am glad you are having such a great time--and that the car doesn't sound terminal!

I can only imagine you cracking up everyone at dinner--I would have liked to have been there for that! Can't wait to hear your update for today. Looking forward to it!
