He's also managed to bump his communicator -- again -- and seems blissfully unaware of the video feed of the underside of his chin from where the communicator sits in his lap ( Read more... )

[The video switches on and the camera is fumbled for several seconds before Danny's shoulders and face comes into view.  He's naked, body heavily scarred where the skin can be seen, particularly around his throat where the flesh has been rubbed raw from years of wearing his heavy collar, which is now missing.]

[Danny looks very bewildered.

There are a LOT more people on the boat than he expected when he ventured out of his room for food.]

[There's a little five year old Danny running around in the buffet, ducking under the tables and crawling around, and playing peek-a-boo with anyone he sees.

He doesn't have his collar, and he doesn't seem to have been trained yet either.]

[The communicator clicks on and for a moment, the camera is masked by a finger over the lens.  There's a shocked gasp and a few seconds of silence before the camera is suddenly clear and Danny's face and shoulders can be seen, albeit upside down.  There are scars littering his skin, too many to count, all of them long healed.  There's a deep scar ( Read more... )
